Blackheath Conservatoire announce funding for a further two bursaries for Budding Musicians! From September MMC will be able to award 10 talented students the opportunity to study at the Conservatoire for a year for free. Promising producer/singer/songwriter MichelleOfaith, as she is known on Myspace.com, is a former Budding Musicians Club student and one of our former BMC Bursary winners. She has recently won the Yamaha and LIPA national songwriting competition MakeitBreakit, and is now fast approaching her grade 5 exams in vocals, having already achieved grade 4 in keyboards. Michelle is a great inspiration to us all, and a wonderful example of how to make the most of the opportunities offered by The Midi Music Company.

INSPIRATION 07™
INSPIRATION 07™ took place on the 11th August 2007 at the Moonshot Community Centre, Millwall Community Scheme, The Albany, and The Midi Music Company. A series of inspirational masterclasses with top industry professionals kicked the day off, followed by a Youth Culture Market Place packed with information about what's around for young people. The day ended with a fantastic live event featuring emerging young artists and headlined by Terri Walker. Thanks to all those who took part and for making it an unforgettable day.
