battle of the bands
In just one day we’ll take your team, teach you how to play in a band, and hone your skills to the point where you can take part in a fun battle of the bands contest. You’ll perform live on stage before a panel of experts and the winners will be presented with awards in a ceremony at the end of the day.
You can choose to rock out on the drums, turn up the distortion on the guitar, hammer out the keyboard line or take to the microphone and sing your heart out. You’ll be split into groups to learn your instrument with a friendly professional tutor.
The morning session
You’ll start with some warm-up exercises designed to introduce you to some essential rhythmic and harmonic skills and then move on to learning your song.
You can choose from a list of popular songs and also suggest your own. We will advise on the difficulty level of the songs.
The afternoon session
After lunch, you’ll form your bands and practise before your stage debut!
We can work with you to select appropriate songs, arrange catering or manage any special requests.
