Gordon Williams (Chair)

Gordon is a Partner and Head of the Litigation Department at Lee & Thompson Solicitors, which is one of the leading specialist media and entertainment firms in the UK. He regularly handles high profile cases in the music, film and television industries and, represents the celebrities, other individuals and companies that work within them. He has a keen interest in assisting young people to access those industries

Simon Fulford

Simon is a charity professional, artist and educator whose work is rooted in the belief that the arts have the ability to empower under-served communities in vital ways. From 1992-2004 he lived in New York City where he co-founded and directed Art Start, a grass-roots arts-education organization serving socially-excluded youth. Art Start received a 1997 President's Service Award and 2001 & 2002 National Endowment for the Arts/Presidents Committee on the Arts & Humanities Certificates of Excellence. As a photographer he has collaborated with numerous disabled organizations to help educate their general communities whilst transforming the way that the media depicts disabled people. His work has been exhibited internationally. Simon returned to England in December 2004 and is currently working with several disabled charities including Holton Lee’s National Disability Arts Collection and Archive.

Geraint Howells (Treasurer)

Geraint is a Partner and Head of the Entertainment Division of Willott Kingston Smith, the West End office of Top 20 accountants Kingston Smith. He represents a number of labels, artists and trade bodies, advising on accounting and taxation issues, as well as commercial matters including raising capital. Geraint is also a Princes Trust mentor, advising individuals starting new businesses in the entertainment industry.

Jack Horner

Jack is a co-founder and Creative Director of leading music strategy and communications company FRUKT. Jack works with clients overseeing idea generation, planning and creative direction. Prior to founding FRUKT he began his involvement in music as a dance music producer before joining Warner Music UK initially in International Marketing and then as the record label's first Head of New Media. From there Jack moved to establish a music division for pioneering digital design agency AMX under the chairmanship of Malcolm Garrett, and then joined Accenture to work on a global music venture for Heineken. Evenings and weekends Jack can be found in the bars and venues of Europe with the band he manages – The Girls.

Laila Takeh

Laila is an online marketing and communications specialist working in the charity sector. Sites she has worked on have won a number of awards ranging from a Webby Worthy award to British Medical Association awards. She is currently working at the British Heart Foundation and is responsible for all of the online activity at the charity. Her previous roles have included Online Marketing and Website Manager at RNID where she was also part of the Don't Lose the Music project team and Website Manager at the Multiple Sclerosis Society where she was involved in the young people project group. In her free time Laila is a big music fan and can often be found attending gigs or plugged into her MP3 player.
