GRIT STORY: Still risin’ from the dust is in the semi-finals of The National Lottery Awards! We could appear on a star-studded BBC1 show if everybody votes for us! 'GRIT STORY: Still risin' from the dust' traced the roots of British Grime music through Hip-Hop, Shakespeare, Reggae Sound Systems, and the African Griot Tradition. The project was a partnership production from The Midi Music Company, The Albany and Goldsmiths: University of London. Watch the film and vote for us!

Grit Story: Still risin' from the dust

Our new film tracing the roots of British Grime music! Featuring Benjamin Zephaniah, Joy Mack, Saxon Sound, Cleveland Watkiss and more... The film was made by young producers, MCs, poets and writers in partnership with The Midi Music Company, The Albany and Goldsmiths, University of London. It was made possible by funding from The Heritage Lottery Fund. Watch it now!

Summer term 2010

We're back! Hope you all had a good Easter. We're feeling good and looking forward to Summer Term. Wozzy was interviewed on Radio London! You'll be able to hear it here soon and we had a great Breakout Club - seriously high quality performances, thanks to everyone who made it such a good night.
