Breakout Club line-up revealed

We've got a stellar line-up for Breakout Club for next month.

Headlining are the brilliant United Vibrations, supported by great new band Embers, Breakout Club favourite Conrad the Scoundral and a special acoustic set by Santino.

DJ NG will be on the decks.

Entry is free, live music from 8pm, at the New Cross Inn, 323 New Cross Road, SE14 6AS.

Lewisham People's Day - We Need You!

This year's Lewisham People's Day takes place from 12noon - 8pm, Saturday 9 July in Mountsfield Park.

It's a day of music, magic, art, dance, sport, cabaret and spoken word. There's also loads of stalls of community groups, businesses and public services.

This year the Midi Music Company will have our very own stall, promoting our work. We're looking for some volunteers to come and help us wax lyrical about what we do...we're just asking for a couple of hours of your time to hang out in a park and chat to some people about your experiences of MMC.

Sky Arts Ignition: Futures Fund

Sky Arts Ignition have a brilliant opportunity for anyone who's really serious about their perusing their talent, but struggle to find the funds.

Five lucky artists will be awarded £30,000 each to follow their own creative path, whether it be directing theatre, making music, or choreography.
