Nubeatz
A taste of life in the music industry. Work with vocalists, beatmakers, producers and singers to put on a show and make a recording. Use our recording studio and MIDI suites to produce using professional software including Logic and Reason. The course is taught by young producer/MC Conrad the Scoundral.
Programme details
NuBeatz is for 16 - 19 year olds and started on September the 22nd 2009. It happens at The Midi Music Company, 77 Watsons Street, SE8 4AU. The aim is to facilitate a student-centred project that creates a sense of ownership and co-creativity amongst the participants. Our teaching strategies are informal and non-hierarchical, focussing on discussion, experimentation and collaboration.
